Citywide Reading for Children Fun at St Patrick’s Festival
Join author Erika McGann and illustrator Vince Reid for an afternoon of fun in No. 63 Merrion Square as part of St. Patrick’s Festival’s Big Day Out.
Dublin UNESCO City of Literature’s Citywide read Making Millions comes to life in a Georgian House on Merrion Square on Sunday 18th March. We invite you to enter a world of fantasy. Join our creepy ghost tour, squeeze into our mysterious storytelling tent by torchlight, or try the shadow puppetry and illustration workshop, see how bendable your are in our fun outdoor gymnastics zone. Special readings from the book will be provided from its author Erica McCann throughout the day

Over the last two months, children across Dublin have been reading about the Bubble Street Gang in Erika McGann’s Making Millions, as it was the chosen book for the 2018 Citywide Reading Campaign for Children. The aim of the campaign is to promote reading for pleasure.
