“A Writing Life” – Free Seminar with Dublin Writer in Residence Elizabeth Reapy

Dublin UNESCO City of Literature Writer-in-Residence Elizabeth Reapy will give a free hour-long seminar on ‘A Writing Life’ in Pearse St. Library on Saturday 20th of January from 10am – 11am. (Registration 9.45am)

Topics will include: creativity and productivity; developing ideas; writing fears and how to overcome them and finding the time to write.

This session will be useful for new writers keen to develop their writing routine and as a refresher course for more experienced writers.

Time: 9.45 – 11.00

Please bring a pen and paper.

Spaces are limited so booking is essential.
(Preference will be given to members of the Dublin City Libraries writing groups so please mention if you’re involved in a writing group in your booking).

Tutor info: Elizabeth (EM) Reapy has a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from UCC and an MA in Creative Writing from Queen’s University, Belfast. Her debut novel Red Dirt won ‘Newcomer of the Year’ at the 2016 Irish Book Awards and the 2017 Rooney Prize for Irish Literature.
