Seven Dublin writers won awards at The Bord Gáis Irish Book Awards 2010. President Mary McAleese presented Maeve Binchy The Lifetime Achievement Award, other winners included:

Emma Donoghue - Hughes & Hughes Novel of the Year

Neil Richardson -Argosy Non-Fiction Book of the Year

Niamh Sharkey - DAA Junior Children's Book of the Year

Derek Landy - DDA Senior Children's Book of the Year
