There are plenty of films for book lovers amongst the 100+ screenings at this year’s Audi Dublin International Film Festival, which takes place from 16-26 February. Jim Sheridan’s The Secret Scripture, adapted from the award-winning novel by Sebastian Barry, will have star Vanessa Redgrave in attendance at the screening. For younger audiences, beloved children’s author Dame Jacqueline Wilson will attend three films she’s selected for the young people’s programme Fantastic Flix, introducing Mandy and The Secret Garden and attending a Q&A at the screening of the adaptation of her book The Illustrated Mum. The programme features a rich mix of new films from Ireland and across the world and will see 60+ International and Irish guests coming to Dublin.
