Following the success of the 2015 inaugural short story competition, Books Ireland have reopened the competition for 2016 as part of their 40th anniversary celebrations.
First prize includes a cash prize, publication in Books Ireland magazine and a place on a writing course at the Irish Writers Centre, Dublin.
The stories will be adjudicated by Vanessa Fox O’Loughlin, founder of writing.ie, literary agent and author. Closing date is 31st August 2016.
