Bewley's Lunchtime Café Theatre

Since opening its doors in 1999, Bewley’s Café Theatre has emerged as Ireland’s foremost venue for Lunchtime Drama and has an international reputation for innovation and excellence, while maintaining a uniquely Irish and personal touch. The repertoire ranges from classic one-acts showcasing the wit of Shaw, Wilde and O’Casey to the very best of new Irish writing. The programme has a strong emphasis on comedy and theatricality and a visit is guaranteed to brighten up any afternoon. Performances begin at 1pm and end by approximately 2pm leaving the rest of the day to enjoy Dublin’s other attractions.
