EU Reads : Discover Europe Through Books

Travel across Europe through literature with Dublin City Libraries EU Reads!
Dublin City Libraries invites readers on a literary journey with EU Reads, a curated collection celebrating the rich storytelling traditions of all 27 Member States of the European Union.
Created to mark Ireland's Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the initiative showcases books that reflect the diversity, creativity and shared cultural heritage of Europe.
The collection invites readers to explore the best of European writing, from ancient classics to contemporary fiction.
Each EU country will be showcased through selected titles, highlighting the shared and distinctive stories that shape Europe’s literary landscape.
The collection also includes works by authors closely connected with several UNESCO Cities of Literature, providing an opportunity to discover different cultures and perspectives.
