LOORE Network Residencies for Ukrainian Artists
Closing date for applications 8th January 2026

LOORE (The Estonian Creative Residencies Network) was created in response to the expressed need for better representation and collaboration between artist residency organisations across Estonia.
During 2026 members of the LOORE network will host artists through a funded residency program, giving artists the opportunity to make use of the different available opportunities of the organisations and the unique networking possibilities, such as visits, workshops, talks and programs in other locations.
Thanks to the funding by the Estonian Ministry of Culture, LOORE can provide support to Ukrainian artists, writers, curators, critics and musicians etc. This Open Call offers seven 7-week residencies for Ukrainian and Ukraine-based artists and art professionals affected by the war in Ukraine. Residencies are hosted by members of the LOORE network from March to October 2026.
Residency hosts are: Estonian Literary Society, Kordon, Kullaaugu, Loovlinnak, Maajaam, Narva Art Residency, Tartu Artist's Union.
Artists will receive 1550€ stipend total and 250€ travel allowance. All residencies provide free accommodation and studio access for artists. It is possible to attend all residencies in pairs or with family, however, the grant does not cover the costs of additional participants. Artists can apply for maximum 3 residency programs - we will ask you to specify your preferences in the form.
To apply please complete the application form, where you will be asked to select the residency program you wish to apply for. Please note that a web interview may be conducted with shortlisted applicants.
Deadline for Applications: 8th January 2026.
Notification of all artists: latest by 8th February 2026.
