Ireland is well known throughout the world for our storytelling. In 2024, Little Island Books and Skein Press co-published The Fairy Queen, a tale rooted in the oral tradition of the Irish Traveller community, written by beloved storyteller Chrissy Donoghue Ward. For this event chaired by All About Books' Katy Conneely, Chrissy will be joined by writer and activist Oein DeBhairduin for a discussion on the importance and the art of storytelling.
