Slamovision 2026 Viewing Party

Join us in The Black Market at The Market Bar, Dublin, for a special live-streamed screening of the Slamovision 2026 International Final, the global spoken-word competition connecting UNESCO Cities of Literature around the world.

This year's final is being hosted by Iowa City UNESCO City of Literature, USA. Come and support Dublin UNESCO City of Literature's representative, Eoin P. Ó Murchú, who will take to the international stage with his poem Rogha an Dá Dhíogha | Choice.

Eoin earned his place in the competition after winning Dublin's local final earlier this year. He will be with us in The Market Bar to watch his winning poetry video on screen and to hear whether he will be crowned Slamovision Winner 2026.

From 7.30pm, there will be live poetry performances and the usual Rising Tide event buzz with hosts Dave Hynes, Sheila Ryder and Leon Dunne.

The live screening from Iowa will begin at 8.00pm.

Nibbles will be provided, admission is free, and tickets must be booked in advance. Join us for an evening of poetry, performance and international competition as we support Dublin's entry on the world stage.
